Evaluating Risk in AI-Supported Care Delivery - GWU MHA Graduate Students in Health Informatics
April 8, 2026 | Webinar
The GWU MHA Graduate students in Health Informatics are presenting the top presentation determined by outside observers as a collaboration between HIMSS and GWU. They will be covering the topic of Artificial Intelligence.
As the use of AI in healthcare settings rapidly increases, users must be educated on the core functions of AI, when to implement it, and even more importantly, when to avoid using it.
Learning Objectives
- Understand the core functions of the various types of artificial intelligence from ambient to augmented
- Categorize the level of risks (dependent on the type of artificial intelligence used) involved with (distinct but separate) artificial intelligence use cases
- Predict when to use (and what type to use) or avoid using (based on) a governance model
