The AAS – Health Information Management Program combines traditional health information content with data management skills. Students apply knowledge in areas related to healthcare privacy and security, revenue cycle management, health information compliance as well as familiarizing themselves with tools like Access, Excel, and SQL. Our graduates are professionals that ensure health data is accurate and secure. They provide the information support necessary for health care organizations to make clinical and business decisions resulting in better healthcare outcomes.
