Healthcare Data and Analytics Association

The Healthcare Data and Analytics Association (HDAA) was founded in 2001 as a forum where healthcare organizations can share ideas and lessons learned about analytics in a vendor-free environment. Its mission:

• Facilitating greater use of analytics systems to lower healthcare costs and improve quality of care, patient satisfaction and safety
• Advancing healthcare analytics by applying lessons and experience from other industries
• Influencing vendors by the fairness of pricing, quality of products and services, willingness to share risk, and understanding of issues unique to healthcare
• Facilitating the development of standards and best practices that lower the costs of development and operations for healthcare analytics
