The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) is a comprehensive teaching, research, and public service institution dedicated to advancing knowledge through scholarship and creative work. UTA is a highly-ranked, diverse, research-focused, large-public institution. With the launch of the Center for Innovation in Health Informatics (CIHI) in 2020, a synergistic environment has been created to dramatically accelerate multidisciplinary and interprofessional education, research, and practice in health informatics. As a result of these synergies, CIHI and its partners have been contributing to socio-economic growth locally, nationally, and globally by offering various certificate programs, including the Texas Health Informatics Alliance Conference, an annual event that provides an opportunity to share, collaborate, and showcase the amazing work in health informatics across Texas.
