    The Digital Health Transformation Committee serves as HIMSS’s strategic advisory body for reimagining healthcare delivery in an AI-enabled ecosystem. Positioned at the intersection of technology and practice, the committee examines how processes, governance, and incentive structures must fundamentally evolve to unlock the full value of digital transformation.

    Rejecting the outdated mindset of simply digitizing paper processes, the committee champions true process reimagination - where AI and digital tools are leveraged as active partners in care delivery and system improvement. Through this lens, the committee guides HIMSS in shaping strategies, frameworks, and insights that accelerate meaningful, sustainable transformation across the global health ecosystem.

  • How can you participate?

    Committee members are select HIMSS members representing health system, provider, vendor, academic and consulting experts around the globe. They work with fellow experts to develop and deploy tools and resources for the healthcare ecosystem.

    Applicants are selected during the annual Call for HIMSS Committee Volunteers. Positions are available on a two-year rotation for HIMSS members in good standing. Learn more about our eligibility and application deadlines.
