The HIMSS Nursing, Midwifery & AHP Community brings together a dynamic network of clinical leaders from across the region. Representing Nurses, Midwives, and AHPs in EMEA, this community drives innovation, collaboration, and clinical engagement in digital health transformation, ensuring that the voices of frontline professionals shape the future of healthcare.
Formed through the unification of the HIMSS European Nursing Informatics Community and the HIMSS Nursing & Midwifery Informatics (England) Network, the renewed community officially launched in January 2026. With an expanded scope and inclusive focus, this is the first HIMSS community dedicated to Nursing, Midwifery, and AHPs across the entire EMEA region.

Purpose of the Community
To amplify the voice, leadership, and impact of nursing, midwifery, and allied health professionals across the HIMSS ecosystem.
Advancing digital health transformation across EMEA through inclusive collaboration, advocacy, professional development, innovation, and cross-sector engagement, with a shared commitment to improving healthcare outcomes for patients and communities.
Foster inclusive, interdisciplinary community growth and engagement across the region through regular forums and open collaboration.
Promote integrated leadership and sharing Voice of Nursing, Midwifery and AHP’s across all HIMSS Committees by connecting with other HIMSS Committees and Chairs to share knowledge, support, and strategic alignment.
Support the professional development of Nurses, Midwives, and AHPs using the HIMSS frameworks (CAHIMS, CPHIMS, CPDHTS), while fostering innovation and best practice sharing.
