Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia has successfully achieved revalidation for Stage 7 on the modernised Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model. This milestone reaffirms the organisation's commitment to digital excellence and patient-centered care.

The revalidation, completed through a one-day virtual assessment, builds on the hospital’s original Stage 7 validation in November 2021. Over the past five years, Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital has partnered with HIMSS to implement digital maturity models that drive transformation and enable continuous improvement across the organisation.

EMRAM is a global framework that measures the adoption and maturity of a health facility’s electronic medical record capabilities on a scale from 0 to 7. Using the latest standards from the modernized version of EMRAM, Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital demonstrated meaningful progress in key areas such as governance, strategic planning and team culture.

In its previous validation, the hospital was praised for its interactive performance management tool, which included an integrated dashboard system offering clinicians and administrators real-time access to operational data and strategic metrics.

This revalidation was conducted against the updated EMRAM maturity model. Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital’s ability to maintain Stage 7 status under these updated criteria is a testament to its dedication to innovation and operational excellence.

The hospital will join peers, including King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, which recently achieved Stage 7 on the updated AMAM maturity model, at the upcoming World Health Expo event in Dubai this September. This HIMSS partner event will feature the region’s top institutions driving digital health transformation across the Middle East.
