Healthcare and technology professionals will dive into Malaysia’s transformative digital health journey at the 2025 HIMSS APAC Health Conference & Exhibition, taking place 16-18 July in Kuala Lumpur.

Co-located with International Healthcare Week 2025, HIMSS25 APAC marks a milestone collaboration between HIMSS and Informa Markets that will convene global healthcare leaders, digital health experts, and policy makers at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre.

Attendees will learn from how Malaysia is improving digital maturity across public hospitals through outcomes-based transformation plans such as “1 Citizen, 1 Record,” EMR deployments, and plans for national interoperability. 

Before HIMSS25 APAC officially kicks off, Institut Jantung Negara, one of Southeast Asia’s largest and most advanced cardiovascular centers, is offering a hospital tour with an up-close look into innovations in cardiac care and the chance to learn from the leaders driving system transformation.

Malaysia’s Minister of Health YB Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad will attend HIMSS25 APAC as the Guest of Honour, and the ministry will co-host an invite-only briefing on the national digital health roadmap for EMR deployment across Malaysia’s public hospitals. Attendees will hear about Malaysia’s new system requirements and the vision for national interoperability.

Malaysia is aligning innovation with the with Quintuple Aim: better outcomes, equity, provider experience, cost, and patient experience. HIMSS25 APAC offers a look at how policymakers and providers are overcoming challenges in adoption, integration and workforce readiness.
