As part of Global Health Equity Week, we’re highlighting members who are advancing inclusive innovation in healthcare. Muhammad Atif from PureLogics shares how the company is harnessing technology to bridge health gaps and create solutions that empower people. With a focus on accessibility, empathy, and ethical design, PureLogics is driving digital transformation that ensures innovation serves everyone, everywhere.

HIMSS: How would you describe your organization’s philosophy around creating technology that works for everyone?

At PureLogics, our philosophy centers on building technology that empowers people — not just businesses. We believe innovation should be inclusive, accessible, and human-centered. Our goal is to create digital solutions that simplify complex processes, enhance decision-making, and improve everyday experiences for all users, regardless of background or ability.

We prioritize collaboration, empathy, and ethical design in every project — ensuring our technology aligns with real-world needs, especially in healthcare and other impact-driven industries. By combining deep technical expertise with a strong sense of social responsibility, we strive to create technology that not only drives performance but also promotes equity, accessibility, and meaningful change.

HIMSS: In your view, what’s the biggest barrier to achieving health equity through digital innovation – and how can we overcome it?

One of the biggest barriers to achieving health equity through digital innovation is the unequal access to technology and digital literacy. While digital health solutions are transforming care delivery, many underserved populations still face challenges such as limited connectivity, lack of digital skills, or mistrust in data-driven systems. This creates a gap between technological advancement and real-world impact.

To overcome this, we must design with inclusivity in mind — developing solutions that are intuitive, multilingual, mobile-friendly, and accessible across diverse socioeconomic groups. Collaboration among healthcare providers, technology partners, and policymakers is also essential to ensure equitable infrastructure, education, and trust in digital health tools.

At PureLogics, we’re committed to building technology that bridges these gaps — ensuring innovation serves everyone, not just those with access or privilege.

HIMSS: Looking ahead, what innovations or commitments is your organization making to ensure technology continues to close health gaps?

At PureLogics, we are committed to driving innovation that advances health equity and access through intelligent, inclusive technology. Looking ahead, our focus is on developing digital health solutions that leverage AI, interoperability, and data-driven insights to improve care delivery and outcomes for all populations — not just those in major healthcare systems.

We’re investing in user-centered design, ensuring our platforms are accessible, secure, and adaptable to the needs of diverse communities. Our teams are also deepening collaborations with healthcare organizations and technology partners to create connected ecosystems that promote preventive care, personalized health experiences, and data transparency.

Ultimately, our commitment is to build technology that doesn’t just innovate — it closes gaps, empowers providers, and improves lives across every segment of the healthcare continuum.
