HIMSS has assembled a leadership team of healthcare visionaries, innovators and patient advocates to design and shape the educational programme for the 2026 HIMSS European Conference, taking place 19-21 May, 2026, in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The HIMSS26 Europe Programme Committee brings together diverse leaders and experts who represent healthcare systems, technology providers and patient communities across Europe and beyond. The committee will draw from their firsthand experience in care delivery, digital transformation and policy development to guide the creation of sessions and discussions that will address current priorities and challenges in healthcare.

The committee represents different countries of the EMEA region including Spain, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Germany and Egypt.

Together, these experts will guide the development of educational sessions and thought leadership across the HIMSS26 Europe agenda, ensuring content reflects the real-world challenges and opportunities shaping healthcare today.

The 18-member programme committee will focus on the issues and innovations shaping global health, including interoperability, enabling data-driven decision-making and strengthening the healthcare workforce.

HIMSS26 Europe will convene global digital health leaders, innovators and policymakers in the heart of Copenhagen to explore the latest trends, solutions and strategies in healthcare technology.
