HIMSS AI in Healthcare Forum to Explore Responsible AI Adoption and Governance

HIMSS will bring healthcare and technology leaders together in San Diego, Oct. 22-23, 2026, for the AI in Healthcare Forum, a two-day event focused on moving beyond the hype surrounding artificial intelligence and addressing what it takes to deploy AI safely, equitably and at scale across healthcare organizations.

Registration is now open for the AI in Healthcare Forum. The forum will examine the frameworks and strategies needed to help organizations translate AI's potential into meaningful and sustainable real-world impact.

The Forum will feature opening keynote speakers Daniel Yang, MD, Vice President of AI and Emerging Technologies at Kaiser Permanente and Aashima Gupta, Global Director of Healthcare at Google. Together, they will help set the stage for discussions on the opportunities and responsibilities facing healthcare organizations as AI becomes increasingly popular across the industry.

Closing keynotes include Robert Freeman, Chief Digital Transformation Officer at Mount Sinai, and Jonathan Chen, Director of Medical Education in AI at Stanford, offering insights into the evolving role of AI in healthcare and the path ahead for responsible integration.

The agenda will also feature live demos, expert panels and fireside chats featuring leading healthcare executives who will share their diverse perspectives and real-world experiences.
