HIMSS has officially formed the Steering Committee for the 2025 HIMSS APAC Conference & Exhibition, bringing together an accomplished group of digital health leaders and experts from across the APAC region.

This newly established committee will provide strategic guidance to shape the conference’s program, ensuring it reflects with priorities and evolving needs of Asia Pacific's healthcare landscape.

The HIMSS25 APAC Steering Committee is led by:

• Committee Chair: Dr. Dhesi Raja – Chair HIMSS APAC Advisory Board (Malaysia)
• Committee Co-chair: Dr. Mahesh Appannan – Director of Digital Health Division, Ministry of Health (Malaysia)

The HIMSS25 APAC Steering Committee represents the region’s healthcare leaders, spanning public health authorities, hospitals, academic institutions and healthcare delivery systems.

This year, HIMSS25 APAC will be co-located within International Healthcare Week 2025, Southeast Asia’s premier healthcare event, slated for July 16 to 18 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre. The co-location with IHW creates a dynamic platform for policy alignment, innovation showcases and regional collaboration.
