Hospitals across Germany are accelerating their digital transformation, but many face the pressing challenge of how to assess their current progress and determine the right next steps in their digital transformation. The HIMSS DACH Community will host the webinar Mapping the Digital Journey: How Maturity Assessments Drive Hospital Transformation that explores how hospitals can use structured tools to measure their progress and prioritize their goals.

Registration is open for the webinar taking place on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

This 60-minute session, presented in German, will focus on how maturity models such as DigitalRadar and HIMSS EMRAM can act as navigational tools for healthcare organizations.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how both DigitalRadar and EMRAM can support their hospital’s digitisation efforts, learning from a hospital case study where insights from a DigitalRadar assessment led to meaningful improvements. The session also promises a candid and practical exploration of the strengths of frameworks, examining how hospitals can use them to identify gaps, benchmark against peers and focus resources on the outcomes that truly matter for patients and clinicians.

Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in an open discussion on the future of digital maturity in healthcare and its evolution.

The webinar is hosted by the HIMSS DACH Community, which brings together healthcare and health IT leaders across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. By fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, the community provides a platform to explore policy, technology and innovation.
