HIMSS26 Europe to Offer Onsite Certification and Professional Development Opportunities

The 2026 HIMSS European Health Conference & Exhibition will offer professional development opportunities designed to help healthcare and health IT professionals build skills, earn industry-recognized credentials and advance their careers across the global health ecosystem.

Registration is now open for HIMSS26 Europe, slated for 19-21 May, 2026, in Copenhagen. HIMSS26 Europe will host dedicated programming focused on digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and more.

As part of the HIMSS26 Europe experience, attendees will have the opportunity to sit for a HIMSS professional certification exam on site. On 21 May, 2026, HIMSS will offer exam administrations for the Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems and the Certified Professional in Digital Health Transformation Strategy. Exam seats can be added during the conference registration process.

To support exam attendees, HIMSS will also host an optional 90-minute preparation session on the same day. Led by HIMSS staff alongside certified industry subject matter experts, the session will provide last-minute content guidance, best practices for test-taking and an open question-and-answer segment designed to help candidates feel confident going into the exam.

Attendees can further their preparation by selecting the HIMSS Certification Bundle during registration. This bundle provides access to resources designed to support exam success, including a self-paced, on-demand preparation course and a 50-question self-assessment exam, administered on the same platform as the certification exam, giving candidates additional insight into the testing process.

Attendees with questions about professional development opportunities or certification exams at HIMSS26 Europe are encouraged to contact HIMSSProfessionalDevelopment@himss.org for additional information.
