Innovation Day at HIMSS26 Europe

As part of Copenhagen’s citywide Innovation Week, HIMSS26 Europe invites attendees to step into the future of digital health and explore where innovation is delivering real, measurable impact at Innovation Day.

Hosted by HIMSS in Copenhagen, this immersive, one-day experience on 21 May brings together health system leaders, policymakers, technology innovators, investors and startups to move beyond ideas and into action.

Innovation Day is designed for those shaping the next generation of healthcare. Through strategic discussions, global perspectives and hands-on engagement, participants will examine how digital health innovation can scale sustainably across complex health systems and where it truly makes a difference for patients and clinicians.

In the Exhibit Hall, the Startup Engagement Pavilion places innovative founders front and center within Europe’s digital health ecosystem. This high-visibility showcase connects early-stage and emerging companies with healthcare leaders, investors, buyers and potential partners. For startups, it’s a rare opportunity to gain exposure within a major European health tech forum, receive direct feedback from industry experts and accelerate growth through strategic connections.

A highlight of the programme is InnovationXchange, a problem-solving lab built for real-world digital health challenges. In this fast-paced format, startups bring a defined challenge, while investors, incubators and hospital leaders contribute practical insights based on their experience. Interested startups can apply for the InnovationXchange.

Registration is open for HIMSS26 Europe, where Innovation Day hopes to bring bold ideas and practical solutions to help transform the future of healthcare.
