
Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Earns HIMSS Davies Award for Using Innovations to Improve Care Delivery and Outcomes
Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, one of the world’s leaders in the use of artificial intelligence to enhance and support clinical care, has been recognized as a 2025 HIMSS Davies Award recipient. Chang Gung Memorial Hospital is the fifth hospital in Asia to be recognized with the Davies Award since the award’s inception in 1994.
Based in the Guishan District of Taoyuan City in Taiwan, Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, which serves the largest number of acute patients in the country, submitted three evidence-based case studies demonstrating the thoughtful use of data and technology innovations to improve care delivery and outcomes.
With artificial intelligence as a key driver, Chang Gung Memorial leveraged a variety of digital health tools and care workflows to significantly improve care outcomes for heart failure, cancer detection and pharmacy safety.
