Physician Builders Ethan Goh and Mark Sendak to Deliver AI System Keynote at HIMSS AI in Healthcare Forum

Dr. Ethan Goh, executive director of Stanford ARISE (AI Research and Science Evaluation) Network, will share the latest research showing where large language models are already beating or boosting human clinicians during the closing keynote for the HIMSS AI in Healthcare Forum.

Registration is open for the forum, taking place July 10-11 in Brooklyn, New York, with expert-led sessions from AI visionaries, unparalleled networking events and continuing education credits.

Goh will cover AI model performance as well as what comes next for health system stakeholders, including how AI will change how health systems handle clinical documentation, workflow design, triage and diagnostics.

Dr. Mark Sendak, population health and data science lead, physician and intrapreneur with Duke Health, will join Goh after the keynote for a candid conversation about their ongoing work across AI research and implementation.

Goh and Sendak, both physician builders actively developing and deploying AI systems inside health systems, will discuss how emerging AI capabilities shift labor dynamics, which clinical tasks are on track to become AI-autonomous and AI-augmented, and what are the obstacles to large-scale deployment.
