On Thursday, October 9, 2025, the HIMSS Virtual Care Community will host an interactive Open House webinar that invites healthcare professionals, innovators and stakeholders from around the world to explore the next chapter in virtual health.

Registration is now open. The event will highlight the community’s 2025 priorities, showcase real-world innovations and feature perspectives from industry leaders, WHO experts and digital health pioneers who are shaping the global future of connected care. Dr. Ahmed Salah, Director of Corporate Medical Services and Digital Health at PRIME Health Holdings and a HIMSS Virtual Care Committee member, will serve as moderator.

The webinar will provide participants with a unique opportunity to learn, engage and contribute to the ongoing transformation of healthcare delivery. Attendees will gain an understanding of the Virtual Care Community’s vision for the year ahead, while also hearing directly from organizations implementing virtual care solutions across diverse settings.

The World Health Organization will also share its strategic direction for advancing digital health access worldwide, with artificial intelligence and emerging technologies taking center stage. Ambient AI implementation challenges in virtual care will be highlighted through the keynote lecture, and a live Q&A will round out the program, allowing participants to connect directly with community leaders and peers.
