Voting is now open for the 2027 HIMSS Changemaker in Health Awards, recognizing leaders who are driving meaningful change across the global health community through information and technology.

This year’s finalists represent leadership and impact across health and healthcare. Through their work, they are advancing transformation, improving health outcomes and demonstrating what is possible when information and technology are put into action. 

Voting is exclusive to HIMSS members. Members are encouraged to meet this year's finalists and cast their vote for the 2027 HIMSS Changemaker in Health Awards by Oct. 19.

The HIMSS Changemaker in Health Awards recognize individuals who positively exemplify the HIMSS mission and vision and drive transformational change that leads to improved health outcomes through the advancement of information and technology. The awards highlight individuals whose leadership, ideas and contributions are helping address some of the most pressing challenges facing health and healthcare today.

Finalists were selected through a review process and represent 10 Changemaker Award categories in total, reflecting the diverse expertise and perspectives shaping the global health ecosystem. Their work demonstrates the role that collaboration, innovation and leadership play in moving health and healthcare forward.

Award recipients in these categories will be determined through global voting on the Changemaker Awards Voting Platform.
